NEW OFFERING
ADHD Assessments
I am now accepting clients who wish to explore a possible ADHD diagnosis. I work with adults 18 years and older.ADHD, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder impacts how someone pays attention, controls impulses, and manages energy levels. It’s like having a brain that works in high gear most of the time, which can make it challenging to focus on tasks, stay organised, or sit still for long periods. For someone with ADHD, their mind might wander off during conversations, or they may feel restless in situations where others seem calm. It’s important to know that ADHD isn't about laziness or a lack of intelligence—far from it! In fact, many people with ADHD are incredibly creative, energetic, and have unique problem-solving skills. There are different types of ADHD: some people mainly struggle with focusing (often called inattentive ADHD), while others may be more hyperactive and impulsive, or they might experience a combination of both. The good news is that with support like therapy, medication, and lifestyle strategies, people with ADHD can learn how to harness their strengths and navigate challenges. If you, or someone you know has ADHD, it’s about understanding how your brain works and finding what helps you shine.
